Audi S5 B9 3.0TFSI – Stage3 with RS5 hybrid turbos
This project is very interesting due to the fact that the 3.0TFSI V6 engine comes with a single turbo. While the RS5 B9 2.9TFSI comes with two turbos. The idea was to convert from a single system to a twin system and use a set of hybrids that we have tested on the RS5 and like very much: Stage1 by #turbosystems .
The mechanical side of the conversion is challenging and an Audi RS5/RS4 factory refit kit from @bulldosser_engineering was used. To tune this very custom project took a lot of testing and software modifications to make everything run properly. Drivability and performance wise.
Upgrade specifications
The car is equipped with:

Performance results
The engine calibration settings and results were obtained without the use of water-methanol injection, or an ethanol mix. Ordinary100RON gasoline was used together with an octane booster additive. Measurements on the street were carried out with a full interior and an external temperature of 18+ degrees C. Unfortunately, the 0-100 and the quarter-mile could not be measured accurately due to strong wheel spin at the start. 100-200km/h time was 6.10s.
Estimated power output is 650 hp and 850NM. Big thanks to our team in Ukraine for completing this project.
