The Ford Mondeo 1.6TDCI MY2015 is powered by the very successful larger breed of 1.6TDCI/HDI engine that was jointly developed by Ford and Peugeot/Citroen. This larger version produces 115hp engine power according to the manufacturer. Compared to its smaller sisters, it features a VNT turbocharger and a watercooling system for intake air instead of an air/air intercooler. On dyno, it was measured stock at 119bhp and 308Nm of torque, with just 60.000km on the clock.
After tuning with an #Etuners Stage1 ECU remap, the engine produced 143bhp and 352Nm of torque, significantly improving its power band and performance at mid and high rpm over stock.
