If there is a legendary blue car other than the 555 that was linked to Colin McRae, it is the Ford Focus RS MK1. What an amazing car from the late 90s it is: Driveability matched by very few models of its time, big brakes, limited slip differential packed together with a very powerful and reliable engine. Only bad thing about this car was its engine control electronics: they were a little bit primitive but reliable. But that is alright, we bypass the things we did not like in this Stage3 big turbo implementation.
Away went the stock turbo, now replaced by a Garrett GT28RS. Together with a full exhaust and a bigger intercooler, they complete what is needed to max out the stock injectors. With a custom #Etuners Stage3 ecu remap, at 1.5bars the engine produces 350hp time and time again. What an awesome car to be in shape at 20 years of age! The engine itself is a brick, with very strong pistons and connecting rods that can take the abuse even with a big turbo installed, at the current power level.
