Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI – Stage 1 ECU remap for 98RON
Why tune it?
The Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI produces 211hp according to the manufacturer, for a vehicle that weighs around 1.8-2 tons.
That is not a very good power/weight ratio by any means and this combination desperately needs improved performance.
It is supposed to be doing 0-100km/h in 7.2 seconds but we have no idea how that can be possible, or if any real world driver
can ever repeat this amazing result. Probably not, not by a long shot.
Performance results
On the dyno using 98RON fuel, it was measured producing almost 240hp as stock. A lot better than we had originally expected,
yet still not enough to be considered a quick car. Or even a moderately fast one.
By installing a stage 1 ECU remap, the engine gained about 30-35hp. And a lot of torque too.
