Installing twin turbos on the massive 5.2FSI engine inside the Audi R8 is a very good way to make more power. Because of the size of the engine, it can make big power with this conversion, if done properly.
Having stock engine components including all its fueling parts means we need to be very careful not to hurt the engine and the car itself.
Even so, at 7psi/0.5bar it made massive power on the DynoDynamics rolling road that was used for tuning.
The turbo kit is not for the faint hearted: It is fully capable of producing more than 1000whp when unleashed but the stock engine components would not like that very much.
It many ways it is very similar to the Heffner Turbo kit for the Lamborghini LP560 and the CFI Designs turbo kit on its sister R8.
