The Mercedes C43 is equipped with the smallest twin turbo AMG engine. Power comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6, which produces 270kw/362 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 384 lb-ft of torque at 2000 rpm. This powerplant is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The engine makes sweet noises and revs happily up to its 6500-rpm redline.
When measured at CV Performance’s DynoDynamics rolling road it made 194kW (4wd) completely stock. With a custom Etuners calibration for stage 1 and 98RON peak power increased to 243kw. With a gain of 49kw and custom mapping for improved throttle response, this is now a very exciting car to drive!
