The Toyota Prado, which is also known as Land Cruiser, uses a 4.0 liter V6 engine. This particular vehicle belongs to the 4th generation of Prados, which is based on Toyota’s J150 platform. When tested on KTRT Performance’s AWD Dynojet rolling road, it produced 197whp in 4WD, with a terrible midrange performance.

For some strange reason, the stock mapping causes a big torque drop at 4500rpm that is very noticeable when driving the car too. This was rectified via the remap and along with a few tweaks in the calibration, good gains were made both in mid and high rpm.
